Second Annual Investment Conference at the Hilton Metropole Hotel, Birmingham, organised by Connect MidlandsInformal Software has been short listed from 85 to 23 companies to enter the final of the Second (2002) Annual Investment Conference.

The prime purpose of the organiser - Connect Midlands - is to act as a facilitator and networking vehicle, bringing together emerging technology businesses with individuals and organisations from the investment, venture capital, technology, corporate, research and business support communities.

Last year’s Investment Conference was a great success, after which 60% of the presenting companies were offered investment.

Informal Software Limited’s presentation was conducted by the company’s CEO, Dr Ian Cullimore. The presentation was truly exceptional, bringing a new dynamic to Microsoft PowerPoint. Using Informal’s software, enotate, Dr Cullimore controlled his presentation from his connected PDA, because enotate synchronises the PDA screen with the PowerPoint slides on the projector screen. Using the freehand stylus and various PDA menu choices, Dr Cullimore’s mark-ups on his PDA screen appeared on the projected slides in real time.

Benefitting from an immediate and creative interaction with the audience, professional presenters can raise their game every time, using enotate to powerfully enhance audience understanding and empathy.
